Dr. Batool F. Rizvi DDS
Dr. Batool Rizvi has a motto that sums up the goal of her medical specialty: “I strive to keep my patients smiling from the inside out.” A practitioner with Holistic Dentistry and Wellness Center, in North Bellmore, Rizvi takes a systemic approach to patient care, offering services that respect the deep connection between oral and whole-body health.
Among her specialties are PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) Bone Grafting; metal-free zirconia implants; (metal-free braces (clear aligner therapy); certified safe mercury removal; ozone therapy; mercury-free and BPA-free composite fillings; and non-surgical, evidence-based periodontal treatments. She also offers free consultations for a second opinion of proposed treatments.
“I offer a full range of dental services, treating both adults and children with an integrative and systemic philosophy in mind,” Rizvi says. “I’m one of the few doctors placing metal-free zirconia implants and safely removing mercury fillings using the Huggins Protocol.”
She’s also a firm believer in using a gentle touch, offering thorough explanations, and listening to her patients, to keep them “always smiling, happy and healthy.”
Rizvi earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University and completed residencies in general dentistry at the Kings County Hospital Center and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, as well as an implantology fellowship from Columbia University.
Dr. Margarita Pappas
Dr. Pappas received her D.D.S degree and completed her Residency at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. During her studies, she was part of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Pappas has been practicing dentistry since 2006 and her strengths are in esthetic and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Pappas enjoys helping people overcome their fears of the dentist. Her philosophy on the patient experience in dentistry is don’t let one bad experience dictate your health decisions!
Dr. Pappas’ family is from Greece, and she speaks fluent English, Greek and Italian. A native Long Islander, Dr. Pappas has lived all throughout New York State and currently resides in Huntington. In her free time, Dr. Pappas loves to travel to Greece. Summer is her favorite season and she loves anything tropical.

Dr. Norman Bressack
Dr. Norman Bressack has been dedicated to practicing healthy holistic dentistry for over 35 years. On behalf of Holistic Dental & Wellness Center, Dr. Batool Rizvi is now carrying Dr. Bressack's legacy. We are not only mercury free dentists but "mercury safe" dentists as well. Meaning that we use safe removal protocols to ensure the protection of the patient, staff, environment and ourselves from exposure to mercury during the amalgam removal process. Dr. Rizvi trained under the supervision of Dr. Bressack to implement the mercury safe protocol used today. We are members of the following prestigious organizations:

Our mission is to treat his patients in the most healthy, caring, compassionate, and holistic way possible. It is essential for us to inform patients about the dangers of mercury toxicity, fluoride and the risks of treating teeth with root canals.
